Re: Tire Pressure Markings
I used the one from '75 since it was closest in time to the mutts... Jim
Jim, The manual I was looking in was from '93'. I'm going with the "TP 20" Dan, I looked in the Oct 85 manual and it tells you what the pressures should be but doesn't illustrate the markings as y...

Jim

Jim,

Depending on the year of manual I did find one that illustrated "T.P. 20"

Re: Titan? Growler? Encore? Whatsit?

Wow! The Clampets would be proud. I really like the jack and mount. I guess with all that extra iron on it a scissor jack just wasn't good enough.

Re: Judging Interest: M151A2 AM General Data Plates (New Blank)

I'd be interested in a 77 contract but only if it's an exact duplicate to the original. Like it was suggested he should go with his own generic version but with either the AMG or Ford logo, no silver boxes and 151, A-1 or A-2 plates. This would open it up to most people and it could be the customers ...

Re: Tire Pressure Markings

Thanks Ralph, I tried searching through photos but I couldn't find anything. Also looked in the paint and marking manual but no luck. I'm sure it's in there and I probably just over looked it. Thanks again!

Re: Conversion Question

That's how I got the idea. However I'm in the middle of a m37 build and all funds are moving in that direction at the moment. I'm on hold waiting for my Snap On compressor so I can start the sand blasting process. I doubt his items will still be around by the time I'm ready to buy.

Conversion Question

I have a 67 A1 that is titled but the data plate used was for an ambulance. How much trouble is it to convert a 151 to a 718. What's the availability of parts to convert?

Tire Pressure Markings

What is the correct format for marking tire pressure? (T.P. 20, T P 20, or TP 20) Also should there be a space between the TP and 20?

Re: Flourescent green paint?

67mutt, Are you using a chemical stripper, hard to tell in the photo? Anway in case you aren't aware and you are looking for hood numbers or other markings you don't want to use stripper in those areas. Hand sanding in these areas is best because you only remove small layers at a time. A lot of work...

Re: Safe Driving speed

I haven't taken mine on the interstate yet but I don't think most guys aren't pushing it past 55 mph, with a few exceptions.

Re: Starting Registration Process

4 to 6 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last time they told me that, I had my title within three weeks. The plates usually take a couple weeks since I went the personalized route. I did get a temporary paper tag and was told to attach it to the license plate bracket.  It also says righ...

Re: Steel Brake and Fuel Lines... Rapco?

I had to replace a couple lines and did it myself. However instead of cutting and flaring you can get the line with the ends already installed. They come in different lengths and all you have to do is bend them up. Make sure you tell them that you want standard ends otherwise you may get metric, whi...
