Hot floor

I'm quite surprised how HOT is floor between front seats during driving. Understand it comes from exhaust system, but is it normal?
Thermic deflector is in place. Exhaust system works well. Can you, guys, fry the eggs between front seats as well ??
Thank you for your comments.

A2 marking - hood nubmer

After search about marking details I still have one open issue.
What is hood number ( for example 2B8722) ?

P.S. Rick you are right, since middle of 70. hood number
was not applied because of camo.

Re: Pls advice A2 marking

Dan, Mark, thank you for your comment and advice. I see that 2nd ACR still exists, located in Vilseck, Germany.
Based on your comment, it doesn't make sence to put marking on A2? I will not apply camo, just whole green oliv color.

Re: Collector vehicle insurance

although you live in paradise - regarding spare parts and possibility to buy antique military cars in your country - it seem that insurance of these cars is a little bit easier in the Czech Republic. I will pay 300 CZK ( some 12 USD) per year for my MUTT. Incuding free towing servise for 30 Milles, ...

Re: Anyone used these guys for parts?

Both of them have regular occupation and part's distribution is the second job for them. I visited their stock. Some parts are NOS, other pars used, some of them repaired. The pr...

Re: New member of MUTT fellowship

Hello boys, a GREAT THANKS to Ken the Mutt guru to his help. Now I have an idea about history of my MUTT. If you are interested in.....Engine is older than body, horn is the youngest on whole vehicle. Body is appx. 77-78. Original emission control system cutted off. I suppose a TYPICAL case of milit...

Re: New member of MUTT fellowship

Hello everybody, you are right, bows were missing, I bought it later on. Trouble is that canvas sides (not original piece) are too short for orig. bows. And doors can not be instaled. ROPS seems to be original piece, I have still question remove it or not. It was dismantled ( checked, cleaned and pa...

New member - Posting pictures in the site

Hi again,

as I promised, some pictues are posting. The habit of this MUTT is a little bit unusual because of (car) collor and canvas roof.
It comes from Grecce, its totally complette. Windows with zipps, doors with door handle - I was so surprise!
