Re: Suspension - a new feeling of driving a Mutt

If you want more difference in ride, you can try the front and rear suspension bushing mod in our wiki. The info comes from muttmotorpool but i think that site is down.

Re: Rear differential

Speaking of noisy read diffs, would a rubber gasket - made from an old inner tube or something similar - help reduce the noise? I've cut the tread off an old tire and used it as a spacer before and that helped a bit. I've also used spray on bed liner before which helps too. But nothing is going to ...

Re: Distributor vent plugs

Finallky got those sons@b!tches out! I soaked the areas in paint thinner over night which took off all the paint. That didn't work so i put some heat to it and that didn't work (I may not have kept the heat on it long enough but i didn't want to burn the internals). Then i drilled a small hole all t...

Go suggestions, i'll give them a try and let you know if it works. I've got some easy outs that i may have to use instead of left handed drill bits.

Distributor vent plugs

I kept having problems with my old distributor so I just replaced it with a new electronic one from FLMV. I installed it in the jeep and it when in like butter, which is unusal; they're normally tough to line up. However, when I went to unscrew the vent plugs I couldn't get them off. I spent about 3...

If somebody can verify it fits, we can put it in the Wiki.

The world gets a little darker every time the light of one of the warriors of the old guard extinguishes.

I am truly sorry for your loss.

Re: TM 9-1825B Manual??

No problem Tim. Everybody on here has been so helpful and tolerant of me that i'm glad to return the favor whenever I can.

If you do end up down this way, let me know, i've got cold beer and other spirits in the fridge.

Re: TM 9-1825B Manual??

I finally got the TM 9-1825B converted to PDF and uploaded to my share site, there's a lot more stuff I found that I uploaded too. I updated my other thread about the Archived Reports and Documentation for the M151 with all the new stuff I found. (http://g838.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6145) Here's the...

Re: Archived reports & documentation for the M151

I found several more documents while I was searching for some other TM's.

I posted them on the original thread of this post as "Edit 5".

The TM 9-1825B is there.

Everything will be in alphabetical order on the website.

Re: TM 9-1825B Manual??

Is there a way to download all at once? I seem to be able to only highlight one at a time. I am going to try to buy a drive and use it solely to store pertinent information from the site. The Wiki, Manuals, Restoration threads, and downloads like yours. I do not want to dedicate my entire free time...

Re: TM 9-1825B Manual??

Mutt Vet, Man you have a lot of stuff listed. How are you going to list the manual when you post it? Looks like you have everything alphabetically so my guess is in electrical. The site I use has a couple of sort options but the one that it defaults to is alphabetical. So when i upload it, i'll lis...
