I could help but i doubt the US Army would be light on the idea of a person in service with US Army in Afghanistan receiving a package containing military equipment from a Pakistani in these current times.

I wonder if the emergengy brake drum could be bent ever so slightly and rubbing on the e-brake bracket somehow? HTn, It does seem to be spinning awkwardly but till now i took as an optical illusion, i don't know what made me think that. I will remove the drum and see if the problem is gone or it ...

Anyone?

Yes. I am definite it is the tranny.
