Re: Tire Pressure Markings

Good move Cobra, that was by far your best option. Kickass Mr.R, thanks for that affirmation that though possibly obscure, the long version was once document in print! I can't say it often enough in the details of these vehicles "never say never". I had never seen or heard of the long v...

Re: Tire Pressure Markings

Hey 67,
That don't always work. I've seen pictures of what some tell me is Obama's birth certificate. Oh, and the spelled out version was in white on the original semigloss. I did take pictures, just need to find the hard drive they're sitting on. :)

Re: Ohio Events

Hey HTN, No I haven't done it before. The Ohio MotorPool is one of the groups that just put on Shiloh. It's a one day event and boasts a picnic spot during the trail ride. More photo ops for pictures of old farts standing in line for food. I'm lookin forward to it though. :D I doubt we ...

Re: Tire Pressure Markings

Hey Cobra, Here's another subject that may offer up some differing opinions. I'm all for "accepted" markings, which will probably represent the most commonly found military style. Here's the "never say never". On one of my M-416's while sanding down it's active duty 4 color ca...

Re: early grab handle or bubba?

Hey Joe, A few of those items were on my list, before I deleted it for my previous message. I missed the quarter and the safety strap. Sorry Joe, but the field phone is actually a TA-43, but leave it to an old sparky to know there is even a difference. It's basically a pre-TA-312 without the sw...

Re: early grab handle or bubba?

If the fuel can had been backwards, I would have been all over it. :D Muttguru has been counseling me on waiting to express my opinion until it's asked for, I'm trying to be a convert, as he is so right.

Re: M151A2 Radiator or Powerpack

Welcome to the group MarineGrunt, Frank's surplus currently has NOS radiators, but asking is nearly $500. The complete packages were available from Red River for just over $3,000 as I remember. At the time it included everything and pair of differentials. Mr Dibbles would know more about the Red ...
