Weird PM Issue??

Postby Elvis Presley » December 28th, 2011, 10:21 am

This is weird, but sometimes when I use PMs, the system says they were sent but they just hang out in my outbox?? Any hints on what's going on - or is it user error... (that's my guess)

Any help would be appreciated!!

Have a nice day!

I made the experience, that they are in the outbox as long as the recipient has not read them. By the way, I've some in my outbox, too, Probably the recipients have not checked their spam folder while getting the notificiation or they ignore the ... (x new messages) ... link under the top naviagtion bar of this forum.

I've been to Dearborn a couple of years ago visiting the Ford museum. Amazing !

Thanks! I'll stop sending messages to the guy I was trying to contact. I think he'll be cheesed off by now!!!

I have a buddy in Ingolstadt that visits here quite often. I really want to make a trip to Germany one of these days !!! Just like everything else - so much beer, and so little time !!!

I got a similar a problem, received notification of a PM from Clell to my Yahoo account but it was not in my in box. My reply to him has been sitting in my outbox so don't know if he has received it. This has not happened before, may be worth somebody checking the system.

Messages are left in your outbox until the recipient reads it. It is also possible to delete messages in your outbox before the recipient receives it. This is what probably happened when you received a not by e-mail and didn't see it once you checked in.
