I think it would be helpful to have a members location in the profile next to the post. It might make it easier to help them.

If you want to add your location, you can go into the user control panel han click on the profile tab and add your location. Just remember to click on the submit box. I think this is what your asking.

What else would you have be required, the year and types of vehicles owned? Jobs we hold or held? Military service, branch and years in?
Where does it end? There is enough "requirements" in this life already without calling for more, don't you think?

Chef, You having a bad day? No it is not a bad idea and it is NOT a requirement, just a suggestion. It does help when someone asks for parts and we can see what part of the country they are from. I am not suggesting you put an address, a state would suffice.
