And again, just after posting the above reply and during the redirect:

Here is the information I found out from some e-mails I sent out. I am hoping maybe we can make some changes and get back to the speedy site we had before.

Hi Richard, the issue is most likely in your hosting provider which is lunarpages.com. We recommend moving to us and depending on the size of your forum this package might suit you: http://2by2host.com/hosting/
I've also noticed that you have a Youtube link on the home page that times out and a couple of widgets. See the screenshot attached. So some optimization would also be good.

Regards,
George

Again some server errors tonight (0:05 till 0:015 AM CEDT). It is around noon at the US east coast. Can it be a problem of usage? At the moment I can see 53 users online, three registered users. Not that much that it can influence the performance an result in any site errors. I have a dedicated web server running hosting six domains, also being a mail server (hosting one mail domain), a web mail server and a BlackBerry server - with much more users.

BTW: Is there a problem with the SteelSoldiers site, too? The site is down for server maintenance since hours (or days?). Was there any announcement I did not see?

Someone told me on the 503 that SS is down to change servers to an offsite system. They have been down since last week.
I was having server error problems tonight through the 5:00 pm hour.

Is anyone paying attention to these reports? Are they being sent to the ISP? Is there ANYTHING we can do to help? I have seen that there are a lot of people that have left Lunarpages for this very reason, why don't we? If it is a money issue then how much will it take?

I am done, It took me almost an hour to get to the point where I could type this post. Who knows how long it will take to send it. 50 replies and hundreds of views and nothing has been done, it is just progressively getting worse. An hour just to post one thing. If and when it does finally connect it take 2 to three minutes to actually send. I have contacted 2by2host and gotten a reply which I posted and I tried to contact lunarpages but got no reply, go figure. I have offered any kind of help I can and I know others have also. I just cannot sit and cuss at this computer anymore. I will try once in a while to get on but if it kicks me out I will leave then and there, I will not keep trying.

the host site costs between $100 and 200 a year
My site left lunar pages a long time ago
this is going on far to long, at least Jim could update us on what he is doing, rather not doing.
But I don't think any one is paying attention.

Continously problems from Thursday 9:30 PM till Friday 11:45 PM CEDT. Just by opening a thread to read a post. Going back and forward, sometimes it works sometimes I have to wait 15 minutes or longer until I can come back. This was my last post on this topic. It is time to act, not to react. An update of the status would be fine and my greatest wish.

Time to look for either a new virtual machine or a dedicated server to move the site. It is 00:10 AM CEDT in Germany.
