I have no idea in which environment the server is running which is hosting the G838. But to me it looks like a problem between a host and a guest (the virtual machine hosting the G838). It is very common for shared hosting accounts to limit how many computer resources (CPU time and memory) a site uses. Otherwise a very active site could negatively impact other sites on the server.

After sending the above information and reading another post, I got an error again. Now, 15 minutes later, everything is fine again.

It would be nice to hear something official on this problem. Other than they are working on it, been hearing that one for two months. Jim, If you are paying for services then you should demand that they be in order. These are not and we have been very patient about it.

Jim, Is there a contact person we can all send e-mail to at the web host? We are going to lose our site and most of the people key to it soon. I spend at least an hour a day just trying to get on the site. If you need help with the site please feel free to ask, I will gladly help.
I can't even get on to post this!!!! I will keep trying until I get it posted and then I am off for the night.

This is the signature for the host site at the bottom of the page, I see the latest date on there is 2007. That is 6 years ago. Is that how old the software is?

rick the phpBB software is the most widely used one for forums, there have been continuous upgrades to it.
My forum runs the same software.
Actually Jim recommended it to me, years ago. I got hold of one of the original creators and hired him to set it up.

Lunarpages.com is Web Hosting and this is where the problem is. I had similar issues with them a few years ago. Solution was real easy, Just change host. I did it immediately and I really don't understand why it has taken so long to do it? My new one cost 120$ a year and runs great.

Hate to see the site lose members due to inaction. Jim must have his reason to ignore the issue for so long.
How about an explanation Jim, would help to know what you are doing instead of the stone wall.
If you are still interested in having the best 151 site around..,,, that is.

Jim,

Please help or can I help. It makes me nervous. I had server errors yesterday, today and just a minute before posting this. Did you know anything? Do you have an update?
