M151A1C on Craigslist

Craigslisting in IL (not mine) Looks like may be M151A1C (?) or look alike.

3 low and 3 high gears huh? Obviously he has no idea what he has. :roll: :lol: It appears to be uncut, no wrinkles or marks on the sides.

Notice the color on both sides. It is cut and the sides have been repainted. The cut is right across, with the typical re-weld.

The rear is A1C, so without a load in the back, you probably could not safely drive it at highway speeds.

I would have to see underneath pics to see how good the weld is before condemning it. As far as the Weight rating with the C springs, just remove the overloads and you have a stock A1. That rear suspension is sitting way to straight for an A1 though.

In the pictures he sent me, you can clearly see second set of springs inside the standard springs. I've not seen such a spring arrangement, so it confused me at first. Is that what you are calling the "overload springs" Rick?
