I have a bunch of used (tested and like new) ASTRON 24 to 12 v convertors. These units are small enough to hide inside the battery box.

Are they waterproof, i regularly have my MUTT in water over the battery box?

Hi Eric.
I would mount it under the hood if you get that much water, but you can always pot the connections with RTV though if you want it in the battery box.
