Saw this a few days ago. Not much time left. With the extras at $5000, seems like a decent deal to me... if they did a good job on the reweld.

Re: 1966 A1 (On Ebay)
The main thing that would concern me is that the entire rear crossmember has been fabricated. This is a spot that the military say's if it rust the vehicle is to be scrapped. Of coarse we will not do that but if that crossmember is bad what about the main frame sections that hold the spring pockets? It WAS cut all the way across and the weld was good but like most it was not taken care of afterwards and the rust has gotten the best of the repaired areas. It might be worth 5 G's considering the extras that come with it but do not expect to get in it and drive all over with no problems. The vehicle itself is not worth that much.

Re: 1966 A1 (On Ebay)
The main thing that these rewelds / put back together matches each other and was frame connectors used to stiffen the weld and the frame rails. Lets say all is good to go but is the length correct, sorter or longer and is square side to side, corner to corner. Only one will know when a canvas top is put on. Personally I don't trust them and for me is a parts only vehicle.
