XM M151 Ford Motor Company ashtray
Not mine - but looks like an interesting M151 collectible...back in the day when guys smoked indoors.

That's interesting. Can't say as I have ever seen that before. I would buy it but not in my budget right now.

Doesn't look as if it's going anywhere at that price.

I saw one at a Gun Show many years ago, but they thought it was a Ford GPW, the price was high on it tho...
Re: XM M151 Ford Motor Company ashtray
I looked over as best I could in the pics but it looks like good quality. Definitely not a off shore item. Whether it is original? Who knows. ANYTHING Ford made usually had a Ford script on it but if these were just made for the employees of a project who knows. I would still think it would since it was meant to be a keepsake.
Unless it was made by someone in the modeling department on their own, sort of like one of the old timers there would do that for the guys at the end of any of the projects. No official thing.

If I paid that much, I feel I would be obligated to take up smoking.
