NOS hot water heaters and electric wiper motors

Unread post by willwagner » November 2nd, 2008, 1:21 pm

Hi Guys and Gals, I'm new here, I'm a regular over on Steel Soldiers. I have an M35A2 and some M105's and a mess of other military junk, no MUTT...yet 8) As soon as I can find a way to splain it to the wife and find room though, i'll be adding to the green fleet!
I've been selling some NOS MUTT parts that ,1- I aquired mistakenly...the heaters. Thought they were deuce kits..didn't look up the NSN's BEFORE I bought them  and ,2- electric wiper motors. These belong to a local Military Vehicle Museum and we are selling them to get some working capital so we can keep and get some more of the vehicles running. I am posting this here to try and liquidate them a bit faster. The heater kits are $115.00 if paid for with PayPal and $100.00 if a M/O is used for anyone on this forum ..I have them on e-bay for $125.00 to cover the fees of them and PayPal. The wiper kits are $55 PP or not. Both are plus shipping. Please feel free to contact me and I can work up a shipping cost for you. Thanks for letting me hock my wares here!

Sorry Jim, just found about this site..from a post on SS! Mr, Recovery, e-mail sent with my addy. Guess UPS had a rate increase. I looked at a few places on line for the wiper motor. I saw between $75 and $95 for it. The guy who had them advertised for $75, had none and hadn't for a while. I started at $75 on e-bay to cover the fees for them and PP. I sold 2 in the last few weeks. I dropped the price to $55. In all you more experienced 151 people, is that an OK price, or is it too steep? The wipers are for the Museum, not for me...well, kinda not for me. This will enable us to get the M60 running and I will hopefully get to drive it around!
Jim, are you at the airport address I just sent one to?

Hey Will,

yes thats me at the airport addy. I think your prices are very good, I'm glad you came over, I'm sure some of our members would be glad to take a few off your hands! We're not as big as Steel Soldiers, but we specialize in M151's only. Everyone is welcome to join though, the more the merrier!

Just an update, the last of the heaters was spoken for today. I still have wiper motors. Thanks to all who helped me out. I still have a mess of things to read on this site!
