M151 A1/A2 on eBay ~ not mine

Unread post by Vzike » March 13th, 2017, 9:40 am

Here is an interesting one. I talked to the seller. He has this reweld with an A1 front welded to an A2 rear. It's located in a storage unit in Ft Lauderdale, FL.

A 1944 WC51 he had sold last night for $656. He sold a WC63 for $5400. He also has an M37

He references the data plate for the date, You can throw that in the trash! That thing will have no real date other than whatever you call it. He also says he is going to follow the MWO for the modification of the rear suspension, that does not work either because they did not cut the vehicle in half and add a newer rear half vehicle to it. Oh yea, I forgot the "previous owner lost the title" never heard that one have we? No views of the so called "saw cut" or anything under the front. To many demons in that one!

The seller can't/won't even say whether the engine is locked up or not. In other words, he's selling a random collection of parts that looks like an A2.

Let The Buyer Beware!

Cheers,

Which reminds me of the old joke - Why are Army mules branded "US" both front and rear?

Because they're Un-Safe at either end!
