I purchased this in 2015 from fellow board member.

1960 Ford M151 for sale.
Body stamped "Run #1". Body plate verifies date of manufacture as December, 1960.
Uncut and original.
Has correct early M151 hood with three chevron shaped supports on the underside, smooth-top air cleaner, cowl vents, screw-adjustable seat frames, magnesium rims, Holley carb, original floorboards, canvas seat cushions, rear fold-down bench seat, etc.
This is an original radio and gun jeep. Price includes rear-mounted PRC-25 radio and antenna setup.
I have replaced the Holley carburetor gaskets and fuel filter. 2 new batteries in 2015. Rebuilt vacuum pump.
Engine runs well has new rebuilt carb from Brooks Engine Service.

I remember seeing all the pictures on that one from the previous sale and that thing is spotless underneath. I am wondering why it would be for sale again so quickly. The price is certainly right, I would put it higher than that. I am kind of surprised Jason has not shown interest in it yet.

Yes, i bought it from Richard since I am local and was looking for one ever since I rode in one at a military vehicle rally.

I have done a little work since it had not been driven on the ride in many years and needed some new batteries and oil pump diaphragm.
It's been sittinnin the garage since I bought it and now it's time to move onto other projects.

How hard would that carb pump be to fix? Does it have any other running issues or leaks or problems?

I'm looking for a fully correct original M151 that I can jump in and take the kids to shows and events and complete without being on the side of the road.

I would bet you could swap a later model carb from one of the parts vendors and have it running great. The Holley carb is just so rare. I have a carb rebuild kit but that didn't fix the problem.
It doesn't leak any oil.
I replaced the fuel level sensor and also the temp sensor and gauge to make sure I know how the engine is running.

I like the idea that it has its correct Holly carb with it, that's one of the reasons I'm interested but I want to make sure it runs perfect.

Would you be interested in having that carb fixed and adjusted correctly to have it run just right?

Id like to have the Jeep out here, Jay

I would like to sell it as is for now. I can negotiate a little in the price so you can use that money for carb work.
