Just installed a new Zenith carb from brooks engine service!

He recommended not rebuilding the Holley. I have the Holley in a box it the buyer wants it.

Starts up without choke and runs great now.

Half the buyers on eBay seem to never follow through!

Hello, I'm a newb on the forum. Haven't even posted anything until now.

I'm tire-kicking for an M151, a1, or a2 for local parades etc. Was thinking about rigging one up in '75 camo for my old unit's period '73-77 but wouldn't do that to a '60 model. Arrrgggg!!! I keep going back to yours because it is otherwise everything I wanted. With your M151, I could essentially paint the correct bumper numbers on it and be done for an early 60's version of one of my unit's vehicle.

I don't know a lot about M151s but I'm trying to immerse myself in learning it. Only drove a few times while in the service and don't remember much except they were fun to drive. My old Uncle Sam let us go hiking most of the time rather than riding. :D

Just have a few questions. Is it rigged to be street legal? I'd love the option of driving to parades etc without towing it there. Also do you have the gun mount? BTW, that's not critical - just asking.

And lastly, are there any mechanical issues? You mentioned replacing the carb and some of the earlier work. Does anything need to be done or is it ready to roll?

I'm in South Georgia.

Thanks, Brownie63
