Deuce parts

Unread post by Bucolic » March 18th, 2017, 10:43 pm

I know this is an M-151 site, but I know a few of you also own other military vehicles. In particular, Dueces.
That said, my son has ten NOS deuce split-rims, NO rings. If you're willing to pick them up, he'll sell all ten for $250.00.
They're at his home in Santa Clarita, OR if paid for in advance, we can deliver them at the Petaluma MV meet on Saturday afternoon April 22 or Sunday morning April 23.

The wheels are GONE.

This may sound like a crazy question but wouldn't it be kind of senseless to buy wheels without the rings? Just curious.

Excellent fire rings, planters too. I guess that is the intent.

Yeah, it would, unless you had a set of ugly rims. We figured that if someone bought them, they could clean up their set of rings and then they would be stuck with ten rims to get rid of. Maybe open a campground and set up ten camp-sites with steel fire rings?

Ahhh...the many uses of Budd style split ring rims. This is almost a thread in itself.

When filled with cement, they make excellent wards for the vertical supports of car ports and such.
