M151A1 FS on eBay NOT MINE

Unread post by Challenger2 » April 13th, 2017, 1:04 pm

Hi guys,
Someone in the UK or Europe might be interested in this m151A1 on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1959-Ford-Mut ... Swc-tY69KR

And BTW - does anyone have the little manufacturer's plate from the heater to sell - it's missing from my own 77 M151A2?

Thanks

Nice looking 151 but it is not a 59. It is a 64 or later A1 not a 59 straight. I am not sure anyone has ever seen a 59 to tell the truth. It has the turn signals with the signal light bosses on the front fenders and also has the third brake light in the back. Both are A1 items along with the later emergency brake and the late style seats. Also A1 hood and windshield frame. I can't see the floors but I would bet they have the scallop drains and not the early oval pull up drains.

Hi !

Three things points at it being an ex Danish Army. The mirrors are Ermax-produced, and widely used for Danish military vehicles of that period. The At lest the left front seat cover looks like the replacement covers produced in Denmark. Last but not least the rifle mount which I also believes are locally produced.
If that is the case, the earliest would be of 1967 vintage.
