Two A1s just sold on eBay for around $7000. I don' think they were cut, but they did not look as nice as this one. You might try putting it on the auction, with your Starting price above the minimum you will take. Just be sure to include lots of pictures and full disclosures on the cut and any condition issues. Having that title is a plus!

Peter, since the ad was pulled, I only see the single photo in the original post of your M151. Is there another way to view the rest of the truck?

Since I first decided to sell it, I have had contacts by e-mail from a number of people. if you send me an e-mail address will be happy to send the other pictures I have. Also, my daughter is coming over this weekend and I will get pictures of the bottom and the reweld. A few other people sent me a private message through this site and I sent photos. For a re welded jeep it really looks pretty good and runs good. I just like rebuilding old jeeps and on this one I had the correct winter Europe camo pattern and the right color paints. I am keeping the price at $4k but have not really advertised it anywhere. let me know if you want more pictures.

I finally got my daughter over to take a few pictures of the underneath so anyone interested can see the reweld work. I will be happy to e-mail pictures to anyone who wants to look. The Jeep is still for sale but I'm not advertising it anywhere at the moment. Still keeping my ask price at $4,000. Have had no issues with the reweld. It's lined up correctly, no cracks or gaps. I did not grind down the welds so you can see from underneath. Was rewelded in California in 2009. Had the fuel tank floor replaced at the same time.

Yep it sold to me. Here are photos of it. Looks as nice in person as the photos show it and it runs great. Peter did a good job on this one.

One suggestion, get the gas line off of the radiator hose and heater lines. An A1 with a fuel return line? It is going to get an identity crisis! Does it have an A2 tank in it?

Rick
There are few minor things like that I need to do but haven't had the time yet. It has an A-2 pre-emissions tank.

Ken,
I sent you an email about it.

Yes, a good buy, especially for what Peter was asking. When he posted originally, he sent me the photos and it was all I could do to NOT delete the savings account under penalty of ......... and make a run to NM. Heck, I should trailer the A2 in my garae to Peter and let him work his magic on it!

First, thanks very much for the kind words. I did spend a bunch of time and effort on the Jeep. I'm glad it went to a good home and I think it will be well cared for. As for the fuel return line, I put a pre emission A2 tank in it and a mechanical fuel pump, the one from the Dodge slant six engine. Tried electric pump after market and was not happy with the results. The fellow that bought it is a great guy and I'll be available for any questions he may have. I got to know this Jeep really well.
