1961 Project Vehicle For Sale

Unread post by Gettysburg63 » October 9th, 2017, 12:54 am

This is a project vehicle for somebody. Working on a title for it. With the expert assistance of the MUTT Guru, the body tag number on the frame puts it about Oct 1961. The frame number is not to far off from mine (May 1961). The front fenders are straight and it has the proper hood with the W/S goal post tie down rather that the footman loop. It needs all the floors and the tool box is rusted thru. It comes with the under-body kit that will be used in its entirety. The sides are decent also. The original engine developed a knock, so an entire A2 power back was put in. The T/O power pack is included. Has an A2 W/S. Can sell new M-151 W/S I have if needed.Vehicle starts and runs. Brake pedal is stuck all the way down, but no brakes. New shoes, master cylinder and wheel cylinders are included. Has the front and rear seats and the bows. Asking price is $3450. Price can be reduced if you only want notarized Bill of Sale. Pics are coming as soon as I download from my camera. Can send quicker to an e-mail if requested. Kevin.

Learn something new everyday. First time I read about that difference.

Paid about the same for mine which was not running and did not have all those extras. Sounds like a good project. Feel free to email me the pics and I can post them up for everyone if you would like. GL with the sale.

Sounds like it's in worse shape than mine, at more than twice the price!
Some people are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything
