Hello Nick.....
What you have is a Ford-built M151A1 (definitely an A!) delivered around June 1966 and it would have been built under Contract DA20-113-AMC-07507-(T)-(MYP).
Having said that, it could also have been built under Ford's earlier contract (DA20-113-AMC-02787-(T)-(MYP) but delivered around the same date.
The reason for two possibilities? Ford was operating two production lines, one completing the earlier contract and the other producing the new contract.
If it was issued to the Army, it could be in the 2K-series or it could be in the later 2M-series.
I can see that there is a dash-mounted dataplate but the photo isn't clear. Is there any possibility you could post a good clear photo of the plate? I may be able to tell you more about it when I see what it says.
Ken
Kind regards....
Ken
