Re: $2,600 M151A1 SOLD
It's a shame it has that big assed winch and bumper on there. Other than that it is a nice early straight 151. I have seen that same 4 wheel hi-lo range description before. I wonder if this vehicle has been for sale before? It is a private sale through Government liquidation.

not so sure how good it really is. I was also first impressed by new canvas, new tires and a new paint. But seeing a motor looking like from a junkyard and a dirty undercarriage let me think that under the hood (no pun intended) this is actually not such a nice example

Re: $2,600 M151A1 SOLD
I was thinking nice more along the lines of it has most of the correct parts for an early straight 151. One correct seat, the oval floor drains in what appears to be pretty solid floors. The correct air cleaner and intake cover. Correct windshield, It does have a later hood. I see a turn signal switch but no signals on the fenders so I am thinking they converted the blackouts to turn signals. It has been converted to an A2 fuel pump but the fuel line still comes out in the stock location so going back would not be hard. I do see what might possibly be a little rot on the rear suspension cross member, hard to tell if it is or just the camera angle. 1964 was a transition year from straight to A1, my 64 has scupper drains and turn signals on the fenders but it is a Ford. This may be earlier than that or Kaiser may not have changed yet.

Re: $2,600 M151A1 SOLD
Rick, was there a somewhat different top bow assembly on the early 151s? I have one that is very different.
Re: $2,600 M151A1 SOLD
The rods that go from the bow to the windshield are different, not sure about any other changes. What is different on yours?

The shape would have to be the same since the tops are all the same.
