I run mine once a week to keep the oil moving through, etc. Once started, mine runs well (1/4 choke) and once warmed up a few minutes (then no choke) she will restart with no problems all day on a single crank. Next day, she is still easy to start, maybe a couple 10 second cranks with the 15 sec cool downs but after a week of idleness she is a b&^% to start. She will eventually start but instead of playing cranking and waiting game for 5 mins (choke about 1/2 pulled), if I squirt just a bit of starter fluid in she fires right up with no problems for the rest of the day.

Seems reasonable to me for such an old vehicle or should I be looking for another problem to correct?

I would say that's just about right...

Make sure the choke is closing all the way, probably 2/3 of the carbs I rebuild the throttle plates and choke plates are misaligned and will not operate correctly.

The first one is interesting but the second and third ones not so much. The LC has tried out long before the A2 came about so these are wannabes and poor ones at that since they apparently have leaf springs attached to a unibody frame. That is just asking for failure at the attachment points from torsional stress. The prides are what I would expect to see on the leaf spring models but the XM seems rather low if it were the one and only original don't you think? Something a bit fishy there.

Coming out of RIA I would guess they are real, The original 8 hole wheels, right side gas fill and dented hood and top? I am guessing it is real. The LC conversions claim to use Jeep CJ axles and I can tell you they are NOT CJ axles. CJ axle used a separate hub which was bolted on with the exception of the 76 CJ-7 which used a wide trac Dana 44. That axle would be far too wide for this application. I am going to bet those rear axles are Ford 8.8 axles and these were built within the last 10-15 years.

The first thing I looked at was how short the vehicle was, then I saw him standing next to an A2 and I realized this guy must be close to 6'8" tall! If not taller, and he STILL fit behind the wheel of that XM.

Nick Moran is the YouTube host for World of Tanks online armor game, and has quite an extensive batch of YT videos examining armor from collections around the world, including the RIA auctions recently.

Yeas, he is about 6 ft 5 in, which is amazing as he is an Armor officer (US Army Reserve) with two deployments, platoon leader then troop commander. If you think he's tall next to the M151, imagine how he cramped up riding in M-1s and Bradleys......

I am 6'2" and I am no where near as high above the roof of my 151 as he is. I am thinking he is quit a bit taller than that. Yea, getting into armor would be a real treat at that height, he must be quite flexible.
