These seem like a fairly good deal.

Floyd,
Just my luck everything is now showing up on the east coast. Kind of the same thing when I was searching for a M151. I'd was stationed in the northwest and everything was on the east coast. I move to the midwest and everything is back on the west coast or northwest. I'm in the northwest and everything is on the east coast or Texas, which should be its own continent because of size.

Engines
Hey Floyd,
I believe those engines are owned by Chet, a member of the other site. Not sure if
he's here yet. Engines look to be pallet stored and in good condition. Not sure of the
rebuild tags have the specs on them. I was interested in what could be done with that
transmission hook up. Made me think of the desert racer team. Nice guy selling them,
seems easy to work with. I'll watch the auction with interest.

Tim: You’re like me every time I want to purchase something it’s on the Eastern seaboard.
Rainman, well said. I always watch these auctions. For all the new people here any time you buy from e-Bay its let the buyer beware, albeit vehicle, engine and or parts.

Rebuilt engines
Read the weasel words in the post. Are they rebuilt or just used take outs. Thats a big difference. Make sure before you bid.
Another guy in Mt Holly has take outs on Ebay starting a $ 399.00 with transmissions and correct starter and flywheel. Just keep that in mind also.

weasel words?
Whoa Fil,
That's a little harsh don't you think? The seller is not my best friend
or anything, but "weasel words" What I read was...
"THESE ENGINES ARE TAGGED REBUILT AT L.E.A.D. 8/86
ALL SPIN FREE AND EASY
IF THEY WERE REBUILT AND THEN TAKEN OUT DON’T KNOW
THEY WERE SEALED AND STRAPPED TO A PALLETT"
I don't see anything like, NOS, Recent Rebuilds. Like New, Cherry, Pristine"
