Check that auction link he provided. Says lost title. Jim is a good guy. I have gotten stuff from him before.

I've looked at that jeep personally when picking up other stuff (M416 & load of parts). Its in pretty good shape, the only rust I saw was two small holes in the bottom of the battery box. The rest underneath all looks good. The right front fender is dinged, but would be easy to straighten out. He did lose the title to it, so title service would be an additional expense (about $150.00) For the price its not a bad deal. If I could afford a second jeep I'd buy it myself.

File for a lost title

He can go to the DMV and file for a lost title. How ever it might be sent to his last known address when it was registered if he had moved sence then. Here it is only a few dollars to it.
