Good Epay seller, happy buyer

Unread post by cstaup » January 15th, 2008, 5:46 am

I "won" a valve cover w/ gasket (Item # 120201900448) from the ebay. Looks as though the "seller" got my payment, but I haven't heard a thing from him. I am not very active on ebay just for this reason, albeit Ohiomutt really squared me away though.

Doed anybody know this guy seller name KCGonzo or bernard matyniak in Smyrna DE? I hope that there is an excuse, ie hospital stay, etc...

Just venting

Chris

I have bought from him before no problem, and he came recommended from the G-503
but i just checked his listings, and all i see is household stuff unrelated to 151s, before he had it packed with parts etc...

I've bought a number of items from him, he's slow to ship, but I've never gotten stuck. I think he waits til whatever batch of stuff he has up sells, then ships all at once. How long has it been? It's sometimes taken 3 weeks to get stuff I bought from him...

no worries then. I'd give him another week, if you still dont get your item file a claim with paypal, and you'll get your money back. I've never had him not send the item though, he's just a little slow about things at times.

Chris, I had some problems getting some stuff that Bernie owed to me from the Aberdeen show. I found out later that he runs the whole show himself and that includes runs to Mechanicsburg in Pa. and Camp Lejune to pick up stuff. He got me my stuff and more then made up for the wait. He is a hell of a nice guy that just runs himself too thin. I am going right past his place on Sat. and I am going to see if I can catch up to him.

I have bought stuff from Bernie. My first experience was this past December and I too thought I got stuck. I couldn't reach him through e-mail or phone messages. One day I received a call from him and we talked for a good hour. Anyway he assured me he sent the package out on a specific day. Two days after talking to him the package showed up and was post dated on the day he said it was sent. The package was late due to the post office. Oh yeah I had to wait 4 weeks for this package. Bernie's a great guy and he will deal beyond E-Bay. Just give it sometime.

I have purchased several items from Bernie and sometimes things come quicker than you expect and others take some time. I figure there is the time it might take Bernie to get it packed and shipped and then there is the Post Office factor. I haven't ordered anything that I needed right now. So, the part taking some time to arrive wasn't an issue.
I am sure that your item will get to you, just not as quickly as you were expecting.

Well folks, your words do encourage me. If things work out well, I'm gonna need more stuff, an air filter "bowl" for example, (as mine was used for target practice.

Thanks you all, I'll keep you posted.

I hope to publicly apologize.

Chris, I just got off the phone with Bernie. He said your order went out on the 6th and he has sent you a couple of e-mails. The e-mail will be going through E-bay, is maybe your spam blocker catching it? He said he would try to contact you again.
