I've worked with a lot less. It all depends on your skills and wallet.

Due to the acronym on the hood, I'd be very leery of this one. :o

If it was closer to me I'd figure out a way to get it myself. It has the early style rims is fairly complete and the body isn't that bad. Defently worth restoring for an early M151.
There is one nut on a M151 that is very difficult to remove.....

Too far for me but I have seen much worse! Check out the vacuum pump block off plate! Floors are not that bad and it looks to be uncut. No telling what is underneath though. That would be the deciding factor.

M151 4 sale- NOT a FORD!

Unread post by tankerm60 » January 24th, 2008, 1:32 pm

Guys,

Look at the (R) side of this girl. It is a Willys/Kaiser! Look at the Shovel handle retainer! Fords used 2 footman loops. ONLY the willys/kaiser had the 2 Metal Tabs for a retainer.

Also, the data plate was Pop Riveted in Place-1962. Early fords were on the Trany covers and had 2 air vents. I have this same identical vehicle.

Does the chick come with it

Unread post by 64 M151 » February 26th, 2008, 8:32 pm

Does the chick come with it. Look like she's a keeper if the MUTT isn't, LOL.

Well its hard to tell what year because it has two Data plates. The dash plate says DOD 3-62 now the ? is the doghouse data plate true to the vehicle or replacement doghouse. I guess it all depends on the title on which one to save and throw the other one away and seal the holes.

The wiring harness is cut and who knows what else lies below. I think 2+K is way to much for her, OOPS for the MUTT. But the tub is restorable.

Later Joe

PS. He should have her pose in a bikini with it, LOL
