[sold] Holley carburetor for sale - reduced price

Unread post by Horst » June 17th, 2012, 5:24 am

I have one of these famous Holley carbs for sale. Rebuild it with a soft kit and did a test drive once. Decided to keep the A2 unmodified.
Price: 220€ + shipping. I know this is a lot of money but it is less than I paid for it. Comes with one extra accelerator pump diaphragm. If someone in US wants it within the next 7 days, can ship within CONUS.

Did it not function/perform well? There is not anything wrong with it? I know my zenith operated/performed just as well as the holley , I just liked the squirt of gas function from the accelerator pump from the holley better. But maybe there was better gas mileage from the zenith? Maybe I'll put it back on and check it out as I would think a 4 cylinder engine would get better gas mileage than12--15 MPG.

Reduced price. 220 USD instead of Euros. Plus shipping from Germany or US West Coast depending on where you live.

You are not going to get any better than that from a 2200lb. vehicle with a 72 horsepower engine turning 4.88 gears.

If you're worried about mileage lower the windshield and slouch down deep in your seat (just enough to see over the steering wheel). It's all about drag... that's how I stretch my gas budget.

Mrdibbles method whereby he crouches down and barely pears over the dash is otherwise known as the "Detroit Lean".
