M-151A2 Project for sale

Unread post by Gettysburg63 » October 22nd, 2013, 9:58 pm

MUTT was tarped for many years in the county. Picked it up two weeks ago. 3/70 build date by Ford. Engine contract number matches data plate. Engine data plate matches loose engine rebuild tag I found on the passengers floor. Rebuilt 11/82. Bore 20 over, rods and mains 10 over. Engine full of oil on dipstick, but stuck. I have been BP blaster to loosen. Carb was gone, but a rag was stuffed in the manifold. You can see the rest. I am rebuilding a 1961 for the MVPA convention next year and cannot tackle this. No title. Asking $2800.00.

This an update to the M-151A2 for sale. I have freed up the engine and it now turns over using the fan and fan belts. I removed the radiator to get a more even grip on the fan. When I loosened the upper radiator hose, antifreeze poured out. I also now have a Kentucky title for the vehicle. Price is $3000.00 and includes a new rear seat frame and two new rear fender tops. These are unused parts from my on-going 1961 restoration for the MVPA Convention.

WOW! Project is an understatement. Someone had a real like for breaking glass I see. It is a rare 1970 but man is that going to need a lot of metal. Hey Guy, a new model for you.
