Unread post by Cobra5 » May 18th, 2014, 12:52 am

Well here is the next victim on the chopping block unless someone here is interested in buying this jeep for $800.00 OBO. The engine is free but the transmission is locked. I will post photos of the underside tomorrow stay tuned for more. Look at the photos and if there are any questions let me know.

This one will most likely be cut up but for now she has a stay of execution because I'm swamped with other projects and don't have the time right now. So if someone wants a big project here it is in all its rusted glory. I might be heading to Chicago this summer to visit family and would be willing to workout delivery for a reasonable cost.

If you chop it up, I would be interested in the floor drains, some good straight 151 stuff there. Thanks, Hambone

Well fear not folks as I have sold this jeep to a new military museum that will be opening in Sacramento Ca. in May. All they wanted was a rolling tub so I gave them what they asked for and trailered it down to Winnemucca, Nevada over the weekend. They are going to use it in a Vietnam display with the jeep rolled on its side with dressed mannequins taking cover behind it.

Well they want to display it as a wrecked jeep.  The best part is that they didn't want any of the internals so I stripped out everything useable or repairable before taking it to them. I even gave them detailed photos of what they would be receiving so there were no surprises.
