Man that is clean and straight! BUT, Here it comes............................... wait for it.................................... the gas can........................................ yep, you got it........................... it's backwards.
Sorry man, I just couldn't resist since that is about the oldest one in our repertoire of cracks (jokes).
Very nice looking vehicle though, are you replacing it with something?

Did you sell yours?
I saw it for sale on on a German website at least 5 times and the it was pulled again.
Didn't you receive my email? I would have been interested in buying it!

that sure looks like an Early M151 to me.. To many Early parts on it to be an A1 I think. The seats, the wheels the e brake handle the hood latches, the breather.

A1. Third brake light.
Turn signals on front fenders. Original due to reinforcements in fenders.
Rubber hoses to wipers instead of metal pipes.
No screw adjust seats

My 64 has most of the stuff a straight would have bur also has the turn signals and brake light. The turn signals originally had the monster bred box controller under the dash. 1964 was a transition year so it had the leftovers from the straights on it. I had the mag wheels but they were rough so I went with steel which was also correct for the vehicle at the time.

What color and manufacturer was the paint on your 151A1. It may be just the lighting, but that color seems to be very similar to the areas of oirginal paint on my 1967 A1. It appears darker and less brown than most of the restorations I've seen.
