NY State, Hudson Valley CL

Unread post by retiredpara » October 20th, 2014, 8:18 pm

Owner either inherited these or is selling for someone else, as I only see one vehicle or trailor that is from the '40s.

Check out the last pic. Since it is tarped loosely with some air movement around it it may not be in too bad shape. Paint looks relatively recent, tires aren't flat and the wheels don't show rust from sitting in the woods...

If you go out there post some pics.

I finally got in touch with the owner. He said it was an early 1967 M151
Hes going hunting [ my kind of guy} for a few weeks and he said he would give me a call when he got back.
I hope to see it in when he gets back I'll keep you posted ' wish me luck
One thing it is a cut model but supposedly re welded very nicely. We'll see just what it really is.

When I spoke to this guy back in early Sept about a different truck he was selling he mentioned the military stuff. I got a list of trucks from him that had more on it than he has left now. I didn't follow it beyond that because he didn't have titles for the bulk of it. Here in NJ, that's a deal breaker if you want to put it on the road. If you head out there take pics for us all :)

OK guys I went down there today.
I found thee mutt I was looking for. IT looks pretty solid so I bought it.
I also Had a chance to to look at the rest of his collection.
He has 3 M37 3/4 military 4x4 for sale All of them are solid and pretty much rust free about 90%
THe one in the yard that is complete even has a good box and He said it ran very sweet, Price is $4,500.
The one in the yard is missing the box and has a home built stake rack style body Price is $2,500 He said that one also runs well.
The best one is put away and supposed to be in better shape then the other two.
Prices I think are reasonable He,s a straight shoot Give him a call and check them out
I tried to take photos but the ones in his ad seem better,
When I get the 151 home i'll try and take some pics for all.
