Oh I know that well. Both myself and another member have seen our vehicles for sale on E-bay. Someone just grabbed the pictures off of the net and used them for the sale. But a lot of the time it is best to just be quiet unless it is something obvious like calling it a 1945 M-151 or calling an Encore an original M-151 brought back from Vietnam in 1968. Or if it is total junk and they want big money.

I dunno man, I might have to disagree on that one.

I would much rather a potential new member buy a "1945" M151 or an Encore than buy something that does not exist. I think it is important for us to watch out for each other especially in this hobby where so many of our members might be older and not hip to all the little scammy tricks people pull on each other.

"is it worth X amount of money" is always subjective. One persons good deal is frequently another's nightmare but nobody wants to get scammed.

I left enough money in Africa in 1980, I don't need to shore up any more scammers and I don't think anyone else does either.

This is a nice looking ride. What part of Texas was this in? I wonder if he can explain the reverse pictures? I noticed the full tank on the reverse side and double radio. I like the Tan look. I was thinking of painting mine Tan but couldn't think of any USA deployments that would require a Tan M151A1 unless maybe deployed in Egypt for the UN.

I hate to tell the seller, but the "dual" fording system will still only allow 60 inches of water.
