Zenith carburetor for sale

Unread post by Horst » December 25th, 2014, 12:07 pm

I have a good Zenith carburetor for sale. It is a 12848 and will work on a 151 or a 151A1 (does not work on a 151A2). I have disassembled and cleaned the carburetor inside and out, it came of a government rebuild engine. Having an A2 I have not tested the carburetor but I guarantee that it will work properly or you return it at my cost.

Price is 150€ + shipping. While theoretically I can also hand carry it over the States, don't think it makes a lot of sense with the parts available and the exchange rate, so this is more for the smaller European group here.

This is true. On the underside of the intake flange, Behind the flange on the throat, opposite from the idle mixture needle is a boss, what is that? I never noticed it on any of mine. Maybe since it has been a while since I did a 12848 I just don't remember it.

I will look at one of mine tomorrow, just never paid attention to it. I would guess that means it has no purpose.
