Bought a radiator years ago as a 151 .
when it came it was just. Like that.
At the time I asked Ken and he said that-it was indeed a151 early unit.
Overheating problems caused them to replace them with what we see now.
A little piece of history !

Interesting, I would guess the original was not held in by brackets attached to the grill like that one?

Department of the Army issued a modification work order, MWO 2320-218-20/10 on 26-Nov-1963. The purpose of the MWO was to notify units that the original radiator , part number 8754957, was likely to fail and that it was to be replaced by a strengthened radiator, part number 10921887. STRAC* units were instructed to replace their radiators immediately on receipt of the new one, but all other units were told to replace only at time of failure of the original radiator.
The MWO applied to Ford vehicles in the 2B and 2C-series only.
I would reckon that the early radiator is now a rarity.
