Fording Intake Tube

Post by Cobra5 » July 3rd, 2019, 6:47 pm

Gentlemen,

Anyone have an extra support bar and clamp that secures the intake tube to the dash? I'd rather buy from somebody here than elsewhere.

Thanks!
Tim

I am thinking that it is going to be tough to find just the bar alone but if you don't I would bet someone could give you the dimensions and you could make one from EMT tubing and mash the ends in a vice and drill them. Betting you can't tell the difference from two feet once painted.

Rickf glad to see you are back with us, hope all is going well with your recovery. I figured this would be a long shot but you never know what someone might find at a show or have stashed away not thinking that a few misc parts of a kit would be worth anything. I will most likely end up fabricating what I need if no one has anything.

I have an entire setup still in the box but needless to say I don't want to break it up.

I have a complete kit as well and don't want to break mine up either. I just went ahead and purchased the support rod from the auction site. Now all I need to do is fine the clamp or make one.
