You do realize that is all riveted together don't you? And the odds of finding another are slim. Your call.

https://www.armyjeepparts.com/p-3478-m1 ... 31286.aspx. I knew I could buy one new, but thought maybe someone had a used extra. As many as were made and cut into pieces, I assumed they would be fairly plentiful. New to the M151 thing.

The bows and all of the arms are all riveted to the brackets that are bolted to the fenders so you cannot just get the bows alone. I know you do not need the top but you can always sell that. Ok, I just got your other post as I was typing so I guess they are out there but do yourself a favor and make SURE he has it before you dismiss the one on E-bay. He is known to advertise things only to turn out that he does not have it.

As far as plentiful, I can remember when Murray had Dumpster boxes FULL of door frames, thousands of them. And seat frames. Scrap prices were at 15.00 a hundred and people were not buying them so guess what? GONE!!! All of them went to scrap!!! Hundreds of hard tops went to scrap, brand new still in the boxes. Aluminum was bringing more than they were selling for. To the surplus dealers it is all about the dollar. They do not care one iota about historic value when they can make more scrapping the stuff. They are businessmen.

Makes sense. I would love to have the schematics. I would just build on in the shop.

I live in Oklahoma City area. I have also had things shipped to me via bus line and fastenal. Both are reasonable. The new set on the link I attached is as much for shipping as the part. I cannot afford to spend 400. for these. It is just sickening to think of all the ones that got melted.

If you have someone going thru the Texarkana/New Boston area, Blake @ Red River should have T/O and NOS at a reasonable price.
