Try a place that does alignments.

I believe there are different thicknesses. Do you know what size you need?

I used standard alignment shims when I did mine. Yes there are several different thickness's.

Have no idea what thickness. Going to be putting new tires on and was underneath it checking things out and the back one on the passenger side was gone and a gap there so I cut a washer and slide it in and tighten it up to prevent play. Drivers side has two in front and one in rear.Passenger side also has two in front so I figured one in the back.Looks to be about 1/8" on drivers side.

You are going to have to get it aligned. Just because there are a certain number on one side does not mean it will be the same on the other. That is a good place to start but you will not know until you get it on a alignment rack. And if you have an A1 the alignment machine will likely go into convulsions over the rear camber.   I had to set the machine I used on manual and block out the rear camber.

I understand that. It's a A2 and I got the specs out of the manual and I am going to get toe end done, not going to pay $$$ for new tires and not do that. That is why I wanted the shim for I didn't know if it was special to the A2 or not. I know there was one there because there was a gap and the A-arm was moving .I put the washer in to fill the void and tighten the bolt back up. I live in a town that is a den of thieves. I'm just going to get toe end done for now for this isn't a Corvette where I'm going to be doing 100 mph. I did get under it and measure the best I could and it looks like all of the shims are 1/8 thick". So I need one 1/8" shim and going to call it good until I can afford to replace all of the A-arm bushings and ball joints. A glass shop in town wants $235.00 for a replacement windshield and another $80.00 to install. Cheapest I found was $195.00 installed. I've been through the it's going to cost this much cause all the time in this town. So anyone have a 1/8" single hole shim?

I'm pretty sure I have one that size. Is it the front (a double horseshoe shape) or the back of the A frame (single horseshoe shape). Let me know and I'll dig it out.

It's really not hard to put that windshield in yourself. You just need to make sure there is no broken glass fragments in the groove of the gasket, and you will need something like a long piece of parachute cord. It takes me about 15 minutes to do with a helper to position it.

BTW, it only costs me about $100 for the piece of windshield glass to be cut by a local glass shop. The trick is, you need a good pattern. I made one from a NOS windshield I found on eBay.
