Anyone have an inexpensive hot water heater or gas fired heater for sale?

I have a take out core/blower assy. No valves or switches, no slave.
Some people are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything

I think " complete kit" and "inexpensive" are a couple terms that do not go well together.

Not having a heater in mine I cannot attest to that but I am curious, I know the military used a 160 degree thermostat in the engine and we all know that a 180 is much better for the engine and also makes it run much better. How much better is the heater in a mutt with the 180 thermostat?

i put a 180 in mine, and it still was pathetic. biggest waste of money i ever spent on the jeep. i know the gas fired heater put out a lot more, but i foolishly believed the hot water type would at least keep the windshield clear. boy, was i wrong. spent quite a bit of time installing an NOS kit, that cost $300. huge mistake on my part.

I remember riding from CT to VA in one in 1972 in January. Didn't seem all that cold inside. Of course, we had it buttoned up pretty good and the convoy rarely got over 45 MPH...... and we had on those wonderful cotton OGs with that toasty field jacket w/liner.... How could you possibly be any warmer? :?

Actually the field jacket with liner was not all that bad, I wore them for many years and they kept me warm. And you could buy them back then for a couple bucks.

If you don't need it right away, I'm taking one off my A1 in the not so distant future?? It's used and pretty ugly but has a good heater core in it.
Let me know how quickly you need it.

Thanks!
