Tires

Unread post by cstaup » December 28th, 2007, 8:42 am

I am looking for a set of four, (or five) tires. Out of 7 tires Mutt & traileronly three are good, the rest are either rotted or recaps delaminating.

Where would be a good source for NEW tires?

Thanks

Chris

Personally, I like radials. Better traction, ride, and more resistant to flats. Last longer and handle better too.

I've got a set of radials on wheels for around the town driving. The military tires which are on now are for show. The radials handle soooooo much better and are much quiter

I've got used T/O tires for $15.00 each includes rims. $20.00 for (21) lugs that includes one for the spare tire. If you have greyhound nearby that would be a cheap way of shipping them.
