ErEyal,

I got my NOS set of rods from Riv-Rad last month. They are $16.00 each, mine were still in the original govt wrapper. Check it out at muttparts.com Go to the M151 New Parts section, then scroll down to "Top Vertical Rod". They were shipped in a nice rigid cardboard container, no damage. Hard to beat NOS for 16 bucks and they are original.

ErEyal.

The rods fit as they were designed. They slide in the slot on each side of the body, and the top of the rod fits into a hole in the top suport rod that goes to the windshield.

Hi guys ,
After getting a shipping quote for more than 50 dollars i'm thinking of manufacturing the rods myself, doesn't look to complicated,
What taper you think i should use for the upped hole?
And what diameter of steel rod?

Thanks
Eyal

If you want to go the easy route...I have seen a lot of these made from hardware store flat stock...all you do is drill one hole at top slide in and you are ready...

ErEyl,

Where are you? $50.00 seems really high. My shipping was $16.00 to Texas. They weigh less than two pounds.
