windsheild glasses

Unread post by kb0jyl » April 24th, 2008, 10:08 am

Looking for both right and left windshield glass for my A1. Mine are really grayed around the edges so should replace them. Also will need the new rubber gasket that goes around the windsheild.

Thanks.

You can use your old windshields as a template to cut new ones out of flat windshield glass. That is what they do with large trucks. There are so many different types that it would be impossible to stock them all. Since most have flat windshields, they just cut new ones out of flat stock. You can even get one with the top couple of inches tinted if you so desire.

I also had glass cut for my A1.75 You could also go with a one piece glass.
