Well Scotty,

Let me know when you want me to come up and haul that parts A2 away for you :D Slip it under a tarp and sneak it back across the boarder. I can tell em It's dangerous, they're better off it I get it out of Canada. Hey, it could work. :D

The both look very good from the pictures. Congrats on the new purchases.

Oh, I wasn't upset. I was just seeing all you guys trying to resell my hubby's A2, which we should be going to pick up from Jim sometime next weekend. It was kinda funny, and thought I'd chime in. ;) <--- see the smilie? ;)

Actually it worked out well.... Between the two vehicles, and all the spare parts that come with both, I should be pretty well off.

It'll save me a bunch of cash down the road i'm sure.

Your plan sounds like my original plan for getting a US MUTT. Was just gonna tell the Border guys that MUTT was spare parts. Don't think it would have worked :)
I thought about Jims, but bad for me, NJ is too far to be dragging home another Jeep :)

TrueXena,
I doubt he will, he kept one of each type of jeep, like a little museum section in one of his warehouses. His main business is civilian jeep parts.... I wondered who got that A2, it was in pretty decent shape body wise. I checked it out when I got my trailer from him.... when you go to pick it up, are you going to pass through NY?

I have no idea if we will go through NY, is that on the way to NJ from Ohio? Maybe a little itty-bitty bit?

Anyhoo, I've gotta get the Truck usage okayed before we can go pick it up. We are hoping for next weekend though. Gotta get a confirm from father-inlaw and then from Jim. rickf is gonna try and catch us while we pick it up. (i'm gonna make him load it, blind and all!) ;) Maybe you'll be able to do the same?

Hmmm... I won't be down there next weekend, as I'm coming down there the following weekend... I'm in Upstate new york right near the PA border, nearest big city is Binghamton. Just thought maybe you could visit if passing through nearby.... I dunno where in Ohio you are, maybe you won't be anywhere near...

We will be going through PA, but I'm not sure we will need to go that high up into PA to get to NJ. When I get an actual address (not a PO Box) from Jim, I can google-map our route. I'll let ya know if we come anywhere close to ya. If nothing else, maybe if we are close enough, you can come have lunch or dinner with us as we pass through. ;)

that would be cool it'd be nice to meet you guys...Jim is right outside Fort Dix, so if you map that, it'll give you a good idea of your route.

Nope, looks like we are not coming anywhere near you. Maybe another time, or MV Rally.

Don't you people ever sleep!!!!!!!!!
Your fastest route will be Pa. turnpike straight into NJ to Rt.206S to N. Pembertonton Rd. to Hanover St. and you are there.

There is no rest for the wicked, and sleep is for pussies! (don't even get me started about having kids that wont let a person sleep in anymore!) ;) :D

Yes, I have driven to Jersey before, but I wasn't sure where Fort Dix was or where Moose was located. We will just have to meet up someplace/time else.
