Though I wish I could find one before the trailer is painted, that won't happen, so I'm still looking for a brake handle assembly for my M416 trailer. I have another similar assembly, but not close enough to use it "as is". Anybody ever done a repair on the brake adjustment knob that functioned? Mine snapped off when I foolishly tried to get it to turn with a little leverage. It would seem I have the parts, but the ability to get the rod with the threaded end removed from the rest of the assembly eludes me. If I grind the rivet type fastener that holds the plates together, I'm not sure I can use a bolt for the re-assembly. The hard way seems like a $100 solution for maybe a $25 replacement problem. I'll try to canvas all the dealers on Tuesday and see what is out there NOS if one doesn't turn up here.

I believe the 416 brake handle is the same one used on the later m151's.....
