Rear Fender Support Brackets
Well, since I can't get the company in Holland to sell me a pair - does anyone have a set of rear fender support brackets?? They mount under the rear fenders and hold it up - connected to the back of the vehicle as well as the tub sides. Or, I guess if you really want to get crazy, how about a few of the gusset brackets that go between the rear and the frame rails?? The wiring harness actually goes through the one on the driver's side.. I'm sure they could be made, but I thought I'd be crazy first and just see if anyone actually had any laying around.
Thanks!!!!
Have a nice day!

Re: Rear Fender Support Brackets
Just to update my completey random nomenclature for stuff - here's a pic of the support bracket doing its thing with a new fender panel on top of it courtesy of CMP Panels !!!! I'm looking for a set of those brackets.
And just to add insult to injury - here's one sitting in a sexy MUTT photo shoot in a red-light district somewhere in Holland...
(Don't look at it, it'll burn your eyes....)
The sickening perversion should be banned!!

I could use one too. Someday I'll get enough time, which I thought was the hard part

Re: Rear Fender Support Brackets
WOW - Look at you!!! Boy, that one looks awsome!! Any chance that a few of those could be made right here in the USA for MUTT owners everywhere???
I would like nothing better than to spend my money right here in the USA - providing it to enthusiasts who are supporting my drug habit - I mean my hobby !!!
If you could let me know that would be great !!!
Also, for those out there checking out this post - if any one has a lovely pair of inner fender supports (the one sitting on the very Elvis-like green velvet rug shown earlier in this post) please hook up with lpcoating and we might see those little beauties made here in the USA as well !!!
Thanks lpcoating!!!

Re: Rear Fender Support Brackets
Elvis - make a deal with Hambone as the one's I have are only the prototypes and at this point and our shop is busy with "normal" work. I'll get ours done with the rear panel.

Re: Rear Fender Support Brackets
I don't have any for sale, going to save them for repro.
Re: Rear Fender Support Brackets
Elvis: What reason did they give (Holland) for not selling them to you?

Re: Rear Fender Support Brackets
lpcoating - please let us know when they become available!!!
Hambone - sounds good. Maybe CMP might want to take a look at what you have???
Floyd - They had initially mentioned prohibitive shipping costs, which I was willing to endure just to get the supports, but they now do not respond to any inquiries.
Maybe I just have to wait until they are re-created here.

Re: Rear Fender Support Brackets - UPDATE
Just an update on this one - the place in Holland did finally get back wth me. The rear gussets and the fender support brackets (plus a transmission cover) came to 210 Euros for the parts and over 200 Euros for shipping. I may be crazy, but not that crazy... Hoping lpcoatings is on the way to making all the goodies we need !!!
