the M151 and M151A1 were never fitted with ROPS whilst in military service. The effect on the handling characteristics was the reason. It's your vehicle and of course, you can do what you want to it, but be aware of the risks involved in fitting all that extra weight above the centre of gravity....on what is a vehicle which always had problems with stability on sharp turns.

Why is it that all you good down home "up yonder folks" always wanna give away them R.O.P.S. kits and stuff.
LOL, down here nobody ever gives away anything like that, or I would be stocked up full of that stuff for real... LOL

Yup. Here in the Ozarks, we would just slap some rusty tin on that ROPS and call it a chicken coop!

Re: Wanted- ROPS complete
Hillbilly, I havent actually done it, but remind me in the spring. I will assemble the ROPS with some tin accents and put some feed on top...The birds will jump up there for sure and it will make for a good pic...Maybe I will even don my ripped up overalls and grab my crock shine jug for a cameo appearance!
