WTB M151A2

Unread post by clemeje » March 17th, 2015, 1:31 am

Hi,
I'm looking for a MUTT in good condition. Had one when I was in Panama in early 70s, but couldn't get it ship to the states. :( Retired now and looking for another one that I can "tinker" with and play. Doesn't have to be "showroom" condition like Matts Barstow ( ), I am inclined enough to get most things done. I just like having a small project to work on. Please let me know if y'all hear of any.
Right now at MacDill AFB, have been traveling with my wife and daughter in our fifth wheel. We're trying to figure out where we want to settle down again (Fort Worth,TX was home for 26 years), and we're considering Colorado Springs area. We'll see, and let you guys know where we end up.

Thanks,
Eddie Clement

Welcome to the forum Eddie. Do you have a price range you are looking in? There is a member now with a really nice one he is getting ready to sell but I think it is outside the parameters you have set. I will keep you in mind if I see any on the forums I visit.

He was asking us what it was worth and my appraisal was in the 14,000.00 range. It is a VERY nice one.

Wow, yes it is VERY nice! Would not have to do anything to it. But quite a bit out of my price range. Dang! :(
Please let me know if you hear of anything else Rick.

Would love to have it, but wouldn't get to enjoy it as I'd be dead from the wife taking me out! Lol.

Lt. Dan is from Michigan. Take a look at the one Halftracknut put up. I personally do not know much about it but I can tell you that he is one of the most honest people on here when it comes to describing one of his vehicles for sale. Get in touch with him, He is in Kentucky.

Oh, I thought the pictures you sent were of Lt. Dan's. This is Halftracknut's. I'm going to try to contact him. Only way is through this site. I'll see if I can get in touch by selecting his name.

Thanks,

On the right, under the name and rank and stars, there is a small emblem, that is the PM link. Use that. Or he may send you a PM when he reads this.

Welcome Eddie, you will not go wrong buying from Randy (Halftracknut), one of the most knowledgeable members on the site, has been restoring vehicles and MV's longer than most, the jeep will be solid, exactly as he says, priced fair. I bought my driver from Randy in 2010 and it has been a great rig. It will be dialed in just right. Clell

Hi Clell,
Yes I'm waiting to hear back from him. He said only a bill of sale. Do you know what it takes to get a title?
Thanks,
Eddie

Every state is different, some are very easy and some are totally impossible. Like NJ where I live, No previous title, no new title. Other states all you need is a bill of sale. Check with your DMV.
