Wanting to buy an M151

Unread post by Brad Owens » April 6th, 2015, 8:07 pm

Aloha Gang,

Thanks for this site, I just found it and joined. I am looking to find an M151 that is running condition but can be a "battle field" operational condition. I am a member of the Military Vehicle Collectors Club of South Carolina and currently have a 1984 CUCV but I have been doing Vietnam living history the past two years and would like to get a smaller vehicle that would be appropriate for the Vietnam displays.

I just missed the 1967 one listed here for $3400 by one day, that is like what I am looking for. Something that is a field jeep, not a museum piece.

Welcome Brad, best place to be for a 151 lover. If you find something and want some honest help picking it apart (its a good thing!) post photos and info and the gang will help you sort out just what you have. Where are you in SC?
