Anyone here know this lengthened M151 variant?

Unread post by Dsk65 » February 7th, 2016, 6:40 am

Hello-
About two years ago, this custom aftermarket built m151 variant was sold on ebay, in the northeast U.S. (New York or Pennsylvania maybe, hard to remember) I missed the chance to buy it, and would like to make contact with the owner... anyone know this truck, or its whereabouts?

As i recall, The truck was supposedly professionally built as one of several for an aid/relief mission to Africa, and this one was left behind. The drive train and suspension is all A2.
I would appreciate any leads anyone has... thanks!

Dsk, the vehicle was on ebay in November 2013. The seller was andyswillys of Phoenicia, NY. and he is CURRENTLY advertising items on ebay. The ebay item number was 3807750211
Send him a message via ebay and maybe he can point you in the right direction.

Now that I see your mention of the Africa mission I am wondering if that is one of the Carolina crusher? vehicles that Terry Crews built years ago. Being on the East coast it would make sense since Titans were made in Texas.

I tried getting a hold of Andy's Willys on Ebay (the NY seller back in Nov 2013), but he didn't have the contact info from the buyer anymore.

I'm in Michigan, the suburbs of Detroit...

I knew it would be a long shot to find the buyer, but I figured this would be a pretty good place to look for him.

If anybody has an Encore 151 they are looking to sell not too far from me, I might be interested - I want to modify a MUTT, and it just seems wrong to me to do that to the real ones. The Titans are okay, but I would much prefer an Encore as a second choice to this stretched wheelbase version. It this IS a stretched Titan, I would love to know that for sure... maybe there are more out there?

I am being patient, because I would really like to get this lengthened 151 based vehicle. Missed my chance, and trying not to settle. I like the cargo room it has, and it would work well for what I want to do to it. A standard wheelbase MUTT doesn't have the room I would like, and I prefer to not haul a trailer...

I can't believe there are two threads running at the same time on this vehicle on here and you have not seen the other one. Seems this was made in your area. I never heard of any from there and I would think that being sold on the east coast it would have been a Carolina Growler.
